The Border Security Force soldiers fired at and stopped Pakistani drones from entering in Punjab at the force’s Chandu Wadala and Kasowal posts on Sunday night. Gurdaspur DIG said that the jawans fired upon the drone to deter it from entering and that nearby areas are being searched. 

“The jawans fired upon it to deter it from entering any further. Nearby areas are being searched,” Prabhakar Joshi, BSF DIG, Gurdaspur said, reported ANI. 

Earlier on December 4, a drone along with three kg of heroin was recovered near the India-Pakistan border in Punjab’s Tarn Taran district. The recovery was made in a joint operation of the Punjab Police and the Border Security Force.
