Ukraine Reportedly Losing 10,000 Drones Monthly

A recent tweet suggests that Ukraine alone may lose up to 10,000 drones per month in the conflict with Russia. Brendan Schulman, former Vice President of Policy & Legal Affairs at DJI, retweeted this information, adding a financial perspective. If these flying machines were DJI Mavic 3s, currently observed as the drone of choice in this conflict, the annual spending by Ukraine on drone hardware would hit a dizzying $200 million USD.
Keep in mind that not all the drones Ukraine is using come from DJI or are the specific DJI Mavic 3 model. Plus, many of these drones might actually be gifts or donations, so it’s important to factor that in when trying to estimate the annual value Ukraine spends on drone hardware.
