Holy Stone Propels With FAA-Compliant Remote ID Module

Leading consumer electronics brand Holy Stone, celebrated for crafting affordable, beginner-friendly drones, has made its debut on the FAA UAS Declaration of Compliance database. The addition to the database marks the company’s successful development and FAA acceptance of its first Remote ID module, known as HSRID01.
While specific details regarding HSRID01’s features remain scant, images sourced from FAA and FCC filings hint towards a budget-friendly Remote ID module with basic functionalities. As of now, the Holy Stone official website has yet to mention this new product.
Remote Identification, or Remote ID, is an essential system enabling identification and positional tracking of unmanned aircraft systems (UAS), or drones. This “digital license plate” for drones provides key information such as the drone’s control station or launch location, altitude, speed, and a unique identification number.
