Drone images of Forsyth County’s future Belews Lake Park

Forsyth County acquired about 215 acres with nearly 2 miles of waterfront along Belews Lake, center, on the far side of the lake, from Duke Energy in August 2021. Plans are underway to create a county park on the land with hiking trails, picnic shelters, an education building, ADA compliant fishing docks and playgrounds.
