Nashik: The Adgaon police have registered an FIR against an unidentified person for flying a drone near the restricted area of the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) office within the jurisdiction of the Adgaon police station.
On a complaint, the Adgaon police have registered an FIR against an unidentified person for offences punishable under relevant sections of the IPC for endangering life and personal safety of others, negligent conduct with respect to machinery and other sections of the Aircraft Act, 1934.
A drone was found flying near chowky number 2 of the DRDO office on Friday around 7 pm. An unidentified person flew the drone without taking permission and that too in the restriction area. An area of around 500m near the DRDO office is a restricted area where no drones are allowed.
