Idyllic falls proposal captured by drone after helpful suitor rescues it from a cliff

MANITOULIN—For a long-time visitor to Manitoulin (who has family ties to the Island), proposing to his girlfriend at the Bridal Veil Falls in Kagawong turned out be even more special than he had anticipated after he helped a man in the area get his drone off a cliff.

“Everything worked out better than I could have hoped,” stated Austin Douglas Cooper. “This moment  has been forever captured in a timeless video as well as at a timeless place on the Island.” He proposed to his girlfriend Isha Sharma at one of his favourite places, Bridal Veil Falls in Kagawong.

Mr. Cooper is the son of Kim and Dave Cooper and the grandson of Doug and Betty Heis of Little Current. “Austin and Isha both live in Uxbridge, Ontario and Austin has been coming (and loving) the Island all his life,”…
