BSF shoots down ‘Made in China’ drone near Amritsar

New Delhi, April 29 (UNI) Border Security Force on Friday shot down a ‘Made in China’ black quadcopter entering from Pakistan into Indian territory in the area near village Dhanoe Kalan of Amritsar, Punjab. “On April 29 at about 0115 hrs, Border Security Force troops deployed at border heard buzzing sound of suspected flying object / drone entering from Pakistan into Indian territory in the area falling near Village – Dhanoe Kalan, Amritsar Sector. As per drill, the troops tried to intercept the suspected flying object by firing and brought it down,” BSF said in a statement. The whole area was cordoned and Police and concerned sister agencies were immediately informed, it said.
