Butte County Sheriff’s Office continues investigation on drone use at Dixie Fire
BUTTE COUNTY, Calif. – The Butte County Sheriff’s Office is still investigating who was responsible for flying drones over the Dixie Fire.
The sheriff’s office said there were two separate instances where people witnessed a drone flying in the flight restricted area during the early stages of the fire.
Witnesses told the sheriff’s office one drone was flying during initial attack and another two days after initial attack.
