Ford Pauses Pickup Production for Chips

Ford said the global semiconductor shortage continues to pressure its production capabilities. It announced several factory slowdowns or closures in response.

  • The Ford F-150 pickup truck is one vehicle affected by the shortage. Ford said it will run two shifts in its Dearborn Truck Plant the weeks of July 12, 19, and 26.
