Bernie MacDonald bought a small drone a few weeks ago — the kind popular with hobbyists — but so far it’s stuck on the ground with no flight plan in sight.
The retired public servant tried to do everything right.
He took the mandatory Transport Canada pilot exam and thought he’d practise in off-peak hours in his neighbourhood park in Kanata. The $400 device would always be in his line of sight…
